lsn, a woman voicing a boy or a man gives the character a more dynamic male teen sound or feel…..
it wont be appealing to the fag teens of today’s modern world(which are sexually spoiled by anime) to lsn to a real macho voice for the hero………unless it was an anti-hero.
yes…..all male characters MUST be voiced by male speakers, if its an above 20 charcter make it a man who voices him……if its below 20 make it a boy.

In dragon ball when he was little the best voice for him was from that woman….so in the japanesse version it still continued with her as his voice because they didnt want to change the character , and the anime was a succes.
This was one of Vegeta’s best moments. Not only had he finally reacged the goal he trained 100x harder than Goku to achieve, but the way he beat 19…it was just hilariously fucked up. He had all his original allure as a villain from when he was first introduced as an antagonist, but all that evil and sadism was directed at one of the bad guys.
And you gotta love everyone else’s reaction. It’s like their imaginary world in which Goku is always the best has just crumbled to the ground.
Vegeta has these moments all the time. First it was Cui in the Namek saga, then 19, and finally Pui Pui. It establishes a base line for Goku to seem more awesome.
3:20 Very awsome, and also so cool with the blood spitting out of its arms.
The bloody verzion of dbz is so much better then the non bloody version.
And in the non-bloody version 19 also has a stupid voice.

Gohan was the last to go SSJ (excluding goten and trunks) and yet he was the strongest by the end of DBZ…
and jap goku sounds like a 10 yr old school girl… at least dub goku sounds like hes past puberty.

that only works for male characters under 14 yrs old. any older, and it just sounds stupid for a 20+ yr old male character to have a female voice.
