PCSX2: Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 Gohan vs. Majin Buu
Another PCSX2 DBZ BT3 demo, it’s been a while. System Used: AMD Athlon64 X2 5200+ Dual-Core OC to 3Ghz 2GB DDR2 667Mhz Ram nVidia GeForce 9600GT 512MB GDDR3 Windows XP SP3 Emulator and plugins Used: PCSX2 PS2 Emulator r1656 vc10 release GSDX 0.1.4 with frameskip mod (not perfect frameskip) SPU2-X Sound plugin Lilypad gamepad plugin (with rumble) – Using Logitech Rumblepad2 Gamepad US PS2 Bios Linuz CDVD ISO plugin A Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi game disc turned to ISO format to run on the HDD (so STOP asking where i download the game) The emulator and pugins can be obtained on the official PCSX2 website as well as in some other related sites, google is your friend and stop asking where i got the bios either. Notes: I was previously using a X2 4000+ CPU OC to 2.3Ghz, at that time it was running around only at 35-45FPS during gameplay, after i changed to a X2 5200+ processor @3Ghz i can play around 45-60FPS now, like i said (a million times before) PCSX2 heavily relies on a faster dual-core CPU, specially the much faster Intel Core 2 duo variants, at 3Ghz it would most likely at full speed already on some and most games (as long as you tweak it good). Having a good GPU is good too but in my case, going from 8600GT 256Mb GDDR3 to 9600GT 512MB GDDR3 (which in real 3D gaming is more than twice as powerful) didn’t do much in PCSX2. FRAPS was used in the recording the video and it ate around ~5FPS of the actual framerate, its supposed to be a little faster than that and the …
