Im disappointed with Kai. They took out half the episodes and edited out the blood and turned it black. I used to watch this when I was like 2 and I watched it almost every time it came on. At least in Japanese they cuss a little bit so thats cool I guess but if I were to say in order how I like both original and Kai, Japanese and English it would be Original Japanese, Original English, Kai Japanese and then Kai English. Extremely disappointing, Nicktoons. Extremely disappointing.
And the only thing I like about English Kai is the way Chris Sabat yells, “ITS OVER 9000!!!!!” And thats it but the Japanese Kai opening is pretty cool I guess. But I hate how they made Goku seem like a punk little pussy but really tough. So they changed Snake Way from 10,000 miles and 6 or 7, maybe even 8 episodes to a million miles and about 4 episodes to make it seem like he was that good then but he wasnt and if he was that good, he couldve killed Raditz by himself with just 1 Kamehameha.
But I still like Goku. Definitely 1 of my fav characters ever. Original anyway. And I could keep going on and on about Kai but its not like its gonna change it so its pointless. But still, Nicktoons. Just sad. But the voice cast is better but Gohan’s voice makes him sound like a little pussy just like his dad

This is true Japanese are the creators of Dragon Ball, Dragon ball z, and Dragon ball z kai, and Dragon ball gt
We just copied them put it in english and made it on Tv then sold a few DVD copies
a few years later Budokai came out Several years later a cartoon for the Dragon ball z series came called Dragon ball z kai
In Japanese kai means “Meeting” , “Grouping” , or “gathering”
BASICALLY kai was made because DBZ was not for children due to nudity and violent language
