IK86 Reviews – Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit (XBox 360)
My review for DBZ’s first outing on the current generation of consoles, bursting to its limits with my thoughts and opinions. Please note that I accidentally got the “Transformation” and “Aura Spark” buttons mixed up. They are actually the other way around in the game. Enjoy, and feel free to comment

It sounds like a good idea. If a Burst Limit sequel ever gets made I’d like to see the rest of the series continued, with Broly getting his own proper storyline.
and shouldnt it be the same story line because in the freiza saga they make his death wrong he gets sliced in half by his own energy blade kinda like a distructo disk so its not the same neither are the words
i want to buy this game
i need a dbz game like Budokai 3 again it was fun and the rush attacks were fun and these new dbz games are too easy. I enjoyed playing Budokai 3 because the rushes were unpredictable Atari is being lazy. T_T
ok the hyper attack was cool but that was it i want complex super moves and not just one remember like two final moves like goku had the spirit bomb, super dragon fist, and the instant kamehameha? we need more challenges in a dbz game this is very simple and ver repetivitive
tell me, im used to both the tankaichi and the shin budokai controls. should I get BL or RB?
@kochkochkoch RB is better.
a well done review
Raging Blast, But Burst Limit is only $10, but get RB first.
good review
ive got this on the ps3
@ImpulseKid86 I didn’t like the fact that characters were shown, and mentioned that aren’t in the game.
- Mecha frieza and Bardock’s Full crew are mentioned or seen but unplayable
@ImpulseKid86 umnm the psp versions have their own sagas …could u review those and dragon ball origins please?
@SilverandSuper umnm the psp versions have their own sagas …
bo do kai?
isnt it bu do kai?
Something that really annoys me is that they chose to have movie characters. I would have rather had people they missed from the main story, like Zarbon and Androids 29 and 20.
It’s not Funimation’s fault that Cell has the same voice in all forms. In the Japaneese version of the show, Cell has the same voice in all forms and as such, the Japaneese developers only provide one voice track for him.
@rmxppool I know Cell’s voice doesn’t change in the original Japanese dub of the anime, but considering that it changes with each form in the English dub, I would’ve liked to see that carried into the in-game battles rather than just the cutscenes. I tolerated it in Budokai 1, but as the games went on, it annoyed me more (especially here and also in Budokai 2, where Cell would often announce in-game attacks and pre/post-fight quotes in his Perfect voice, but otherwise have the Imperfect one)
@rmxppool I rather play as them than as Nº19 and 20, they just suck. Zarbon would be nice to hace as a character though.
nice review.
i thought it was good for what i bought it for. best 5 bucks i ever spent
If your looking for a dragonball online account then let me know as soon as you can!!!!
@GravoForce12958 What? Nurst Limit is not the best and the voices didnt sound all that great. Well its all based on opinions so I think that it isnt very good though.
@Foxdude89 That was an old comment, before Raging Blast. Please mind that the comment was made over a year ago. I also was talking about the best next-gen DBZ game.
The biggest problems I have with Burst Limit are: Extreme LACK of characters, its gone from around 60+ to about 15 :\ and the fact that if you go online: EVERYBODY will play as Vegeta, spam you with Galick Gun for awhile and then use Final Flash to finish you off, majorly cheap :\ Burst Limit does need a sequel that fixes these issues.
