I like it when Goku is not always so good hearted and actually HATES his enemies.
yea in know andriod 18 would have prolly interfered with the fight if 17 got fuck to bad thats just a thought but if cell wasnt there piccolo would have handed 17 his ass

andriod 17 vs piccolo was one of the best fights in dbz because it had some db moves in it

I agree. DBZ fights are all blasts, and that thing that they do where all you see is movement lines and you here punching noises but you can actually tell whats going on.

this is back when piccolo was evil. he got all of king piccolo’s power and experience. so he must of gotten his evil heart. then he becomes goku’s rival then friend. same process of vegeta. both strong smart and badass characters.
goku’s power level at this point was not 800 but weaker. when he fought his brother raditz after this he was only around 200-350. 8 year old vegeta would kill both of them in 1 hit. its funny how goku and piccolo’s power level was weaker then that of kid vegeta witch had a power level of 5000-10000
I loved these type of fights back in Dragonball.
Don’t get me wrong; Dragonball Z had epic fights (my favorite being Vegeta vs Goku in Saiyan Saga).
But, most of the time (about 60%), it was screaming, and yelling, and talking, and being surprised.
Here, they fight. They don’t waste time doing unnecessary things, really.
That’s why this is one of my favorite fights of all time.

that was by far the best battle atmosphere ever in dragonball. when noone really knew how strong the ”grown-up” goku had and his training with god and all
well in Dragon ball he was the spawn of King piccolo and Piccolo jr. was actually fairly on par with goku up until about the end of cell saga is when the gap finally shifted into goku’s favor.but it’s only a guess since when piccolo got nail he got better then goku goes SS then Piccolo Fuses with kami and they were equal till goku trained in the time chamber. But Piccolo is a lot smarter then goku plus he can make dragon balls. o.o
but goku was weak to then cause then goku was only like 800 and he got alot of damage cause piccolo got the uper hand lol
