so much fail in that comment, goku, vegeta, broly, buu, and a couple others in DBZ aswell as nearly every GT character is stronger. Plus SSJ4 gogeta is the single strongest in the universe even check the dragonball wiki.

fine, I’ll talk manga then, gotenks, he is far stronger than gohan, both goten and trunks went super saiyan at a far younger age than gohan did, and as gotenks they achieved SSJ3, something gohan never did.

according to the anime SSJ 3 Goku is stronger than Gotenks SSJ3 and Mystic Gohan. The example: the last DBZ Movie nr. 13 Mystic Gohan and Gotenks got beaten up while SSJ3 Goku finished Hirudegarn. The movies are related to the anime and the power lvls should be the same.

The way I see it, the Ultimate form is similar to the Super Saiyan stages, except for one thing: it doesn’t allow for energy to be wasted.
We always see the Super Saiyans with their auras, to me… that’s wasting energy. It looks cool, but it’s energy wasted, and don’t even get me started on how much energy is used just to keep those transformations.
Ultimate/Mystic Gohan utilizes all his potential and his energy… not wasting any…
Explains how he could, in theory, be better than SSJ3.

Kollie79 and the others are absolutely correct, SSj3 Goku is weaker than Mystic Gohan. SSJ3 Goku is also weaker than SSJ3 Gotenks. Get your facts straight.

First off Goku never says the reason he wanted the boys to defeat buu is because “he wouldn’t be alive forever” Although the fact that Goku would indeed have to return to the otherworld, that wasn’t the reason he chose to let the boys fight Buu.
Goku could have defeated Buu had he unlocked the potential to reach Full SSJ3, but that’s not the case.
Kid Buu is also not stronger, he is actually much weaker than a majority of the Buu’s.

(2nd part) Goku clearly states in both the manga and the anime that if he and Vegeta were to fight Super Buu as they were they would die, that means FPSSJ3 or not Goku would die.
So Super Buu > SSJ3 Goku.
Goku then states some time through his fight with Kid Buu had he fought at full power from the beginning he could have defeated Kid Buu…
So Super Buu > Kid Buu

pottora fusion is weaker then fusion dance period, the weaker the fighter created by the fusion dance the longer it can be sustained due to less energy being used, thats one thing the writers of gt got right when ssj4 goku and ssj4 vegeta do fusion

Potara > Fusion.
Old Kai from DBZ, which was written by the makers of DB and DBZ, said that you recieve a power boost much greater then fusion.
The only downside is staying in that form forever.
