I think that DBK in USA would get more viewers if they changed Dragon Soul into this remake and added more bruce faulconer OST.

@054martinm If they’re trying to keep faithful to the original japanese than why don’t they just give Goku and Krillin kid voices, change Goku and Krillin’s name to Son Goku and Kullilin, and change the name of the attacks back to their orignals then. If they don’t believe in doing that, than I believe they should bring back bruce faulconer as well. And his music isn’t “shit” I can give you a bunch of his themes which it will make you change your mind.
@jmeny14 because obviously the culture gap. most in america are like wtf at frieza’s girl voice in the original dub anyway. they had to keep dbz somewhat manly. but that doesnt mean shoving fake nu metal in for NO reason.
@054martinm Wrong, actually the majority of Americans haven’t even watched original Japanese do to funimation’s dubbing which is what airs in the US, which is why the majority of them prefer Bruce Faulconer. Even though the majority of people prefer Shunsuke Kikuchi(original japanese), there is a large handful of people that prefer Bruce Faulconer. If you think Freiza’s voice was bad in the funimation dub, LOOK AT IT NOW IN KAI IT’S EVEN WORSE LMAO!!!

@jmeny14 even worse? i dont know about you but ayres is an incredible actor and almost is as good as his original japanese counterpart. linda young does not fit frieza at all. ayres plays him as a slimy tyrant who even sounds like hes voiced by a guy in his second and third forms. but really? its all a guy. and hes just changing the pitch of his voice. now thats talent. if you cant see that ayres is better than young? i feel sorry for you.
@054martinm I don’t see why you can hate Linda Young, her voice is superb and emphasizes the character of Frieza very well in my opinion. She uses switches back and forth from the girl voice(which frieza infact does look like he would sound like a girl not an Irish like Ayres does) to the deep voice(unlike ayres who keeps the same damn Irish voice for every transformation and does a terrible job). I don’t feel sorry for you, but I feel sorry forthe fact that you’re too hung up on the Japanese.
@054martinm I also believe though that the japanese actor is the best because he emphasizes the feminine, but manly form of Frieza very well, but I still think that Ayres isn’t a good fit for Frieza. I don’t believe that it’s that you hate Linda Young, I believe that it’s the fact that she roles for the Funimation version of DBZ with “nu metal crap” that you can’t give her credit.
Hell yeah thats the way it should sound for Kai not this stupid shit they have I mean no offence to those who like it but i grew up with Rock the Dragon Intro of DBZ and really wish they’d only make the Pic. better for DBZ and leave the music and the way it was done alone Some of the Fillers were funny and added a good bit of Charicter to the show in my opinion.
