i would say BT3 is better for the correctness of the Characters and their transformations for example B3 Goku can transform to ss4 but we know that Goku only finds that form in DBGT however saying that it is pretty cool to kick frieza’s ass with SS4 Goku in B3 in story mode and its also cool to rip into Cell with SS4 Vegeta
@TheAbsolution1 I’ve been watching dbz since i was nine!
I’m now 18 and prefer BT3 because it’s more like the show. Although i will say that budikai one does have some great cutscense.
@TurnYourBrainOn2 at the time when i wrote this i forgot what personal preference meant to both types of fans. So it’s really yours to decide which game is right for you, however, calling one game better than the other is starting a fight and it isn’t in any of our places to say it.
@TheAbsolution1 Agreed. Bt3 isn’t really that good. ok it has 87 characters, but who NEEDS that many? i struggle to decide who to play as in raging blast and burst limit with only 45 and 21 characters respectively.
I remember having a lot of fun with the Budokai games at my friends house (back then I couldn’t afford a PS2)
Though I definitely prefer the Tenkaichi series…Budokai just seemed so…stiff.
Not to say it wasn’t fun…I just prefer to be able to actually move around in games.
@TheAbsolution1 it’s cause people who played BT3 were easily impressed by it’s flying and 3d angle…ive played all the budokai’s and can say Shin Budokai is the BEST of them all, correct Auras, colors, lightning, most stages of all Budokais, best fight engine plus the Pursuit attack vacant in Burst limit.
@Gorretsujindo True, BT3 wins for the most attack and character accuracy, but Raging blast wins By a long shot for fireza’s transformation being identical to the anime.
b1- really enjoyed it
b2- shit
b3- amazing
bt1- less shitier that b2…but still shit
bt2- a MAJOR improvement from bt1
bt3- even more improvements/amazing
Budokai 3 was a full over polish of the first two, which were bad in comparison. B3 was a HUGE improvement. It was the first budokai where everyone had individual animations and attacks that were unique.
Budokai vs Tenkaichi? I’d say they both are they’re own thing. Budokai 3 however focused more on the small things, and the ultimate attacks were WWAAYYY prettier and the planet destruction looked devastating. BT3 had more characters and outfits.
I like both games. Budokai 3 was the best for applying DBZ mechanics to the traditional fighting games. Which I preferred. But BT3 has probably the most “DBZ feel” to it.
Although Budokai had better intro songs in my opinion. Listen to that guitar son!
@j04370859 Budokai 2 is terrible and yes because of the map story mode. One its not organized really why is Cell automatically in his final form so is Freiza . And why isnt Teen Gohan Fighting Cell . The only thing I like about it is more characters and how the main menu is. The Map Story mode killed the game major… I dont care if you disagree with my opinion I think 2 sucked…
Budokai is the best Budokai. “Oh but B3 had better graphics” bla bla. Well NO. when I was like 10-11 when it first came out I was amazed about the graphics. Considering It was 2003-2004 during that time. So it was fun to play. I remember cutting school so I can go play it out my friends house. Getting angry when I had to special beam cannon Raditz and Goku. I’m still amazed that the hole through goku and raditz was on there. I only hated the fact that the majority of blasts we’re yellow

@Omega2040
@ 2:40 That attack is Frieza’s Deathball

@TurnYourBrainOn2 I say Shin Budokai is the better fighter, more strategic while BT3 has better looking attacks and Ultimates.
@Gorretsujindo True, BT3 wins for the most attack and character accuracy, but Raging blast wins By a long shot for fireza’s transformation being identical to the anime.
what episode was at the end when Gogeta faced Broly
@TheAfroman217 Unfortunatly, that’s not an episode. but the Opening(Ending) for Dragonball Z Budokai 3. :3
@dragonbz123 ohh
you talk like bt3 is the only good dbz game ever made. Its good but the others are still great. in my oppinion for budokai 3 was the best budakai.
b1- really enjoyed it
b2- shit
b3- amazing

en el segundo 57 hay una falla solo goku)(final) hace la fucion y goku derroto a broly en goku medio cuando vegeta aún le decia kakarott
@superbarukun I AGREE BUDOKAI 2 SUCKED AND BUDOKAI TENKAICHI 1 SUCKED TOO

Raging Blast sucked though. Next-gen my ass.
bt3 is better but infinite world is the best game

@superbarukun Budokai 2 was better than the first one. You must be one of those people that hate that game just because of that map storymode.
