The original release date in Japan was on March 6, 1993 between episodes 177 and 178. It was released on VHS and DVD in North America by funimation Entertainment on August 26, 2003. During the San Diego Comic Con, funimation announced that they will release two Dragon Ball Z feature movies on Blu-ray format. These two movies included Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan and Broly: Second Coming, and both feature full HD 1080p resolution with digitally remastered animation, and an enhanced 5.1 surround mix. Both movies were released on November 13, 2007. Due to the popularity of Broly’s character, he would reappear in two subsequent sequels, Broly: Second Coming and Bio-Broly.

Brolly is the legendary Super Saiyan. Goku was once thought to be the legendary Super Saiyan by Freeza because Goku was the first to go Super Saiyan and the first Saiyan to match Freeza’s power level. As you can see, that is nothing compared to Brolly’s power level.

I dont get how Broly is dead??? He survive a Planet Vegtea being blown up as a tiny little baby. But he didnt survive a 3 person Kamahamea . Or a simple punch (though it had powerful Super Sayian on the planet) and they had like a tiny bit left. See I think Goku is a the Legendary Super Saiyan. He defeat Broly, Frieza, I am not a big fan of GT but I think he defeated Baby, he beat Hidrugoden, Kid Buu, and I think Cooler too. (I am not sure though)

DaxMolvossi broly was not on planet vegeta when it blew up … remember that a couple of saiyans weren’t there while it blew up some were on other planets doing other missions. have you seened the clip of goku crying with broly next to him ? thats when they were being sent to other planets, goku was sent to earth while broly was sent elsewhere, Turles and and raditz were most likely on other planets just like vegeta and Paragus also.
