Couldn’t Vegeta/Trunks or Goku have killed Cell when he was in his 2nd form instead of screaming “Finish him Gohan!”?
If the characters were intelligent this whole saga would have been much shorter. Why not just wish for a power up with the dragon balls to deafeat the android when you knew they were going to come 3 years from now instead of training for 3 years?

why are people ALWAYS questioning Goku not teleporting back? Just GET OVER it, it is called a dramatic plot point. It elevates the action ad drama. Anyway, maybe Goku was spent from the first usage of his instanteneous tranmission, or maybe once he got to the Kai’s planet, Cell’s explosion commenced and the energy concentrated there made it impossible for Goku to use it again, too much energy disturbance or resonance
